Ultra-fine cotton
Our bed linen is made from 100% OEKO-TEX®-certified Egyptian Giza cotton picked by hand. The fabric is finer and lighter than other cottons, feeling airier and softer against the skin without compromising durability.

We have a thread count (TC) of 400. Standard bed linen sits at 100–150. Thread count means the number of threads per square inch of fabric—the finer the fibre, the more threads fit, and the denser and smoother the surface becomes. But the number alone says little. What matters is what the threads are made of, and how they've been counted.

We chose buttons to extend the lifespan of our products. If a zipper breaks, the entire zipper needs replacing—and many duvet sets are discarded unnecessarily as a result. Our buttons are spaced closely enough that the cover remains usable should one go missing, and a spare is included on the inside.

Our towels are made from 100% OEKO-TEX®-certified, long-staple Egyptian Giza cotton at 650 GSM. GSM means grams per square metre, indicating density and weight—most towels fall between 400 and 600. At 650 GSM, you get a noticeably fuller terry, with greater absorbency and a softness that holds up wash after wash.

The two most common weaves for fine bed linen produce very different results. Percale is woven in a tight plain weave—entirely matte, with a cool, crisp structure. Satin weave, which we chose, floats more threads across the surface. This gives the fabric an elegant, soft sheen and a fluid drape that feels warm against the skin. Both methods can use the same fine Giza fibres, but only satin weave brings out the fibre's natural lustre. For us, the choice was simple: if you have the world's finest cotton, the weave should show it.

Our 400 threads are single ply—each thread spun from long cotton fibres, and nothing else. The alternative, multi ply, is when several weaker threads are twisted together into one and counted individually. Three weak threads become «three threads,» without the fabric being any finer or stronger for it. This is how a high thread count can look impressive on paper and still feel coarse in the bed. Single ply is the honest way to count.

We are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, ensuring minimal to no harmful chemicals in any part of our products. The certificate is renewed annually for your peace of mind.
