Our Materials

We believe in buying less and using it longer. That begins with making products that withstand years of use, and ends with you looking after them.

We use only natural fibres. No polyester, no blends, no microplastics shedding in the wash. Just cotton—and one particular cotton.

Egyptian Giza cotton

The fibre our brand is built on. We buy our cotton directly from farms in the Nile Delta and Faiyum, where the soil and climate produce fibre that can't be matched elsewhere.

Its extra-long strands can be spun into thinner, silkier yarn, more resistant to breakage, fraying, pilling, and wrinkling. It's why the fibre is known locally as «white gold.»

We use Giza 86 for bed linen and Giza 95 for towels. Two different varieties, chosen for two different purposes.

Colour and finishing

All our dyes and finishes are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, tested for harmful substances and safe against the skin. The certificate is renewed annually.

Packaging

Our products are delivered in cotton duck bags—a dense, hard-wearing cotton fabric built to last for years. Not plastic, not single-use. The bag is meant to be kept: for storing bed linen, for travel, for whatever you need.

We keep the rest simple, without unnecessary layers—enough to protect the product on its way to you, and no more.
